This is a nice place in a beautiful setting. We visited during the winter season, and it was great. Service was swift (almost too swift), and the waitress was friendly. The place is just around the corner of the Great Arber Ski Lifts and one of the hiking trails starts right in front of the restaurant. Parking seems to be a bit limited during the skiing season due to the proximity to the slopes.

It was good and really beautiful walkways. But at 9 o'clock was no restroom open so that was a downer for me and minus 2 stars

Relaxing walk along the lake

Moderate, not difficult hike with beautiful views at the top, there's also a hut if you want a tea or something to eat

The restaurant called me this morning, but hung up on me because I speak English. I had a 12 pm reservation and come from far away. I worked at the Baumwipfelpfad and then rushed to get to my 12pm reservation with road closures and driving through villages, only to see the entire place was closed. This is NOT OKAY. Poor Business!
