Truly a great experience. The Badhotel is a lovely, stately place. Elegant interior lobby, reception/meeting halls and dining/bar area. Old school charm. There was not much going on when I was there in early June and at times felt like I was the only person in the spacious hotel. See the pictures for views of public spaces and the room. The town is right outside. Don't expect much before 730a and after 1030p. This is not Berlin, Munich or Frankfurt. Beautiful hikes are just outside the front door. Walk through the small town, take a lovely stroll through the Kurpark or take the funicular to the Top for marvelous views and hikes. This a primarily a tourist town for Germans. Don't expect to speak much English or bi-lingual signs. This adds to the charm and the locals are friendly and courteous. Special kudos to Carina who was a wonderful hostess and ensured all was well with my stay. Loved my stay at Mokni's

Nice area, good for relaxing and hiking. The hotel owner is flexible, the rooms are tidy and support the relaxed atmosphere of the area. Parking is not easy for newcomers but adoptable over a few days. The breakfast is the standard continental expected at this price range. Worth visiting at least for a few days.
Fabulous place, lovely family run hotel. Excellent spa facilities. Perfect location and beautiful views. Good facilities and service. Comfortable and great for families, all ages. We stayed with a four year old and 1.5 years old. The restaurant also serves good food. We will definitely revisit when in black forest again and highly recommend it.
Very friendly staff. Thermal bath can be accessed directly from the main building (free unlimited entry comes with the room rate). If you happen to stay in the Rossini building, it is allowed to walk across the place between the two buildings in your bathrobe ️. Rooms are well equipped (TV, fridge, safe, hairdryer, glasses) and clean. Breakfast buffet is OK, plenty but a bit uninteresting. They serve waffles upon demand, though and you can make your own carrot-apple-ginger juice. The one star away of a five star rating is for the rather old fashioned Interieur style of the hotel (see pictures). All in all definitely a place I can recommend.
The hotel was very nice, with a spacious room and reasonably comfortable bed. The grounds are lovely, peaceful and quiet, and the spa is large with a full circuit of ways to pamper yourselves. The hotel is currently undergoing some renovations, so there were few guests staying when we were there. Still, it was quiet, and renovation activity was fairly minimal. Note: As the hotel mentions below, they are separate from the Palais Spa, which is not at all self-evident, as the hotel has rooms literally attached to the spa, and offers a fairly integrated experience. I've revised my review accordingly to just reflect on the hotel experience. That said, I stand by my earlier statement in that if you're German, I think you'll really enjoy it here, but if not, you'll probably be a little frustrated. Both places (the hotel and the spa) really aren't geared for non-German-speaking guests, though I think the hotel does do a slightly better job accommodating non-locals.
Beautiful bath area within the hotel, a splendid place to relax. Hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. A large selection of food at the breakfast buffet.
Excellent spa, friendly staff. Badhotel is a great accommodation when going to the spa.
