We decided to visit on a warm Sunday during peak fall foliage time and it was insanely crowded. The wider path to the waterfall was busy, but you still had enough personal space to yourself. However, once reaching the narrower portion of the path with the stone cut steps, you're almost shoulder to shoulder with people. Once you actually reach the waterfall, the small platform is packed with people trying to get the best view and angle for photos and selfies. I know that's what everyone is there to see, but it's a very small space and I feel like a lot of visitors just have a lack of consideration for others around them. But I suppose this just goes with visiting a tourist attraction on a nice day. The waterfall itself is nice, but the area surrounding it was my favorite part of our trip here and it's especially beautiful in the fall. The hiking path leads up to a plateau where you can get amazing views of the area from above.

A wonderful way to enjoy the spring sun. There is a small river that runs along the path to the waterfall. The views are quite nice and relaxing. The water is crystal clear and the beer garden on top of the waterfall makes the trip well worth it. Enjoy!

Nice hike, a little bit of flat path, a little of climbing and well maintained and access to water in multiple places in the flat area. Great for picnic with family and friends.

Very nice to see this waterfall in the autumn. All the forest has many colors and the old castle ruins also look nice.

Too many people trying to vie for a good view. The place itself is nice. But so many people are trying to get up close. Stairs at the end are narrow and people stop and look around rather than moving off to the side. The walk on the east side has a nice creek running next to most of the trail. The trail has plenty of spaces to stop and sit. The trail to the falls is, for the most part, a gentle climb with a wide gravel path. People were successful in pushing strollers along this portion. At the end of the trail near the falls, the path turns into cut stone steps and dirt. This is not suitable for those with mobility issues or who tire easy. The trail here is narrow and there are around 100-150 steps in a cut-back arrangement leading up to the falls. Very crowded when I went in July 2020. There is another trail along the west side of the fields that split the valley. This has almost no benches, is wider, but less people. The views are better in the afternoon from this side as there are less trees and you can see the castle ruins on the way back down. There is ample parking all along the road leading up to the trail, but on summer weekends, plan on having to drive around to find one. No cost to visit.
