Good for long hiking tours or short strolls with the dog. Several possibilities to eat on the way. Beautiful views over the Rhine from the prominent heights. Variety of forest areas, with nature and commercial parts. Better are the beech and mixed forest areas. The bark beetle has destroyed large areas of spruce tree plantations that will need reconversion into a more sustainable mix.

Awesome hike and very nice views. The museum texts are all in german - but you can get a full translated info booklet that give you all the texts. You just need to have 10 euro in cash for a deposit.
