I ordered a number of mandolin picks from SchneiderMusik (since these picks are not available in the U.S.). Their shipping costs to the U.S. are quite steep, so I threw a pack of strings into the order in an effort to justify the shipping expense; even so, the shipping cost was as much as the cost of the entire order. They sent me the right strings, but the wrong picks. When I asked them to rectify the situation, they first offered me a small store credit (about 15% of the cost of the order). After a number of emails back and forth, they reluctantly agreed to refund the cost of the picks, but not the cost of the shipping. I explained to them that I never would have paid that shipping cost for a single set of strings, but they wouldn't budge. I offered to return any part or the whole of the order if they would cover the shipping and send the correct order in its place, but for obvious reasons they weren't interested in doing that. The bottom line is that they were polite, but nevertheless, I believe they wrongly took money from me and did not correct their mistake. I would recommend against doing business with SchneiderMusik.

This is the first time that I order a sets of strings from SchneiderMusik, but they sent me the wrong A string. It was the wrong size. So, I sent it back the next day and was hoping that I can get the correct string back within two or three working days. The wrong string arrived the day after I sent it becuase I got an email from them. However the person on the phone told me that they will sent it back to me as soon as they recived the wrong string from my end. However it has been more than 3 working days now, I still yet to recived my A string. At this point, I cannot wait for God knows how long for them to sent me the right string. I have a concert coming up very very soon and it usually takes sometime for the strings to adjust to the instrument. I have no desire to order from this place again in the future. If I can make the effort to go to the post office, waited in line with a 23 months old whinny child, and stand on a wounded foot to mail the wrong string back with an efficient time. The company surely should be able do mail the correct string back to me without any problem. This is totally unacceptable. I went back to my email and checked if I had made a wrong order, and this is what I had ordered and am pretty sure I did not made a wrong order. 1 x Thomastik BC28G Belcanto GOLD Cello, G-3 (G.641753) 39,79 incl. Ich habe vor ca. 2 Wochen eine Saite bestellt, die bisher noch nicht angekommen war, da es zu Lieferschwierigkeiten gekommen ist. Ich verstehe, dass das Unternehmen nichts dafür kann. Das Problem wird inzwischen geklärt. Am Telefon sagte man mir, dass ab Freitag die Firma Pirastro wieder Saiten liefern soll. Es wäre nur für den Kunden gut, wenn diese Information direkt auf der Webseite stünde und die zuvor angegebene Lieferzeit von 1-2 Tagen demzufolge nicht eingehalten werden kann.
Soy de España, se pidio unas cuerdas marca optima, digamos que el pedido se retraso mas de lo debido, pero entiendo que la situacion actual puede dar lugar a esos retrasos, afortunadamente ha llegado bien, le habia puntado un punto, pero soy hombre que cambia de opinion cuando veo que se hacian las cosas correctamente, esperemos que en la proxima vaya mejor, y esta empresa vaya mejorando estos pequeños inconvenientes. Les deseo suerte.
Habe schon oft bei Schneider-Musik Saiten bestellt. Noch nie wurde die angebene Lieferzeit überschritten oder sonst eine Unregelmäßigkeit festgestellt.(Immer bei Schneider direkt bestellt) Ich finde die schlechten Bewertungen aufs höchste überzogen und unfair !!
...ich kaufe seit Jahren bei SchneiderMusik!! Ich wurde immer TOP beliefert. Ist einer meiner Händler des Vertrauens!! Danke!
