Beautiful simple and small hotel in a small village. Great hiking in the fields around the hotel.. The room includes roof windows with relaxed view to the fields. Was amazing just to lay on the bed and see the sunset. The wi- fi connection was weak but bearable.
We stayed here for one night when driving home from Tuscany. The rooms are really modern and very, VERY, clean!!! The staff is very friendly and the food is amazing. We arrived early this year which gave us some time to walk around the area a bit. It's a typical southern German village which is really quiet. Around the hotel are some farms and there's a shop across the street where you can buy fresh produce as well as wine.
Beautiful newly renovated hotel just outside Frieburg. Our deluxe room had a balcony and beautiful modern bathroom with a glass shower and infloor heating. Peaceful surroundings without the bustle of being in the downtown area. Great views right from your room. The staff was so welcoming and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.
A very good hotel, high standard and close to the autobahn
The hotel room I was in was very basic, not as clean as it could be, had a broken TV and spider nests in the corner of the room. It got worse in the restaurant where one man who worked there verbally shouted and swore at seated customers who again were elderly. This happened several times and to several people. There were mosquitos or fleas in the room, that kept biting several of us days after we had left the hotel, region and country. The town itself was dead. There were no shops open, no bars we could find and no people walking around.
The hotel was nearly empty but still they gave us a room in the underground(-1 level), which was half below the ground level directly facing the parking, so our room was so exposed to everybody passing by. It was hot and we were not able to leave our balcony doors open, because there were people taking the cars out and the smoke from the cars directly came in directly inside the room. The room was not vaccum cleaned, there were lot of hair on the carpetted floor. The breakfast is all industrial, nothing from the kitchen and it was a cold(except scrambled eggs) breakfast and nothing hot. The scrambled eggs were prepared right in front of you using the industrialised egg mixtures that come in the boxes. The only good thing was the lady at the reception, she was very nice, smiling and always ready to help. Will never go back again.
did not like the room, dirty and with uncomfortable bed, service was not attentive made us wait in the bar long without coming to take the order, cleaning lady coming into the room 8 AM Sunday morning. All went bad, I wish I had never reserved and never went there. if you can just move on and book a better place, breakfast was also poor in quality and choice and nothing special, tasteless.
